Hi, I’m Jacey Primeau.
I’ve been part of the ballroom world for 15 years, first as a dancer and competitor, and eventually as the person helping create the look around the dancing.
I started doing competition hair and makeup because I loved the transformation that happens before someone steps onto the floor. Overtime, that grew into jewelry, dress rentals, and designing pieces of my own. The more I worked with dancers, the more I realized I didn’t want Beauty by Primo to be just one service.
I wanted it to be a place where the whole look could come together.
Beauty by Primo was created for dancers who want their hair, makeup, jewelry, and dance wear to feel intentional, cohesive, and completely their own.
My Approach
I believe a competition look should feel cohesive, personal, and designed with the dancer in mind. Every detail - from hair and makeup to jewelry and dance wear - should work together rather than compete for attention.
Rooted in Ballroom
As a dancer and competitor myself, I understand that a competition look has to do more than photograph well. It has to move, hold up through rounds, fit the style of the dance, and still feel like you when you step onto the floor.
Details Matter
I’ve always been drawn to the little things - the placement of a rhinestone, the shape of an earring, the balance of a hairstyle, the way a dress moves when you dance. Those details are what make a look feel finished, and they’re the part I love bringing together the most.
